WLM Featured Fridays

November 3, 2017

Most of this weeks featured bands are new to the metal scene. But on this entire list, there is one video that deserves special attention and continues to strengthen my beliefs as to why metal is the best family in the world.

Hopefully you enjoyed October’s Friday the 13th Edition and last weeks Halloween Edition of Featured Fridays but for now, it’s the calm before the holiday madness ensues and another opportunity to showcase some brand new names to you guys. While one of the names on this list is pretty familiar with most of the community, the rest I am pretty positive most haven’t heard of.

While the list starts out on the heavier notion, it’s really the last video that will tug at you. ‘Heroes Must Return’ and that is no understatement. Check out the message and story behind the last video, it’s as real as it gets folks. Feel free to spread awareness. Nonetheless, hopefully one of these tracks/artists makes it into your library. Here’s to another dose of metal! Stay Metal \m/

The story in the video is about 17 year old Patrick from Poland, and his family. Both his parents have very serious health issues and they depend on donations and help from their son.

“My parents are wonderful people, they are my role models and I know how much they have done. I’m afraid of the future but I promised I will never leave them and I will always support them. My parents gave me everything they could, everything they had, I’ll pay the same, and I’ll dedicate my life to them” – Patrick

If you want to help Patrick and his family you can visit this link to donate: http://rycerzeiksiezniczki.pl/kids/pilarczyk/?lang=en
