July 28, 2016

The Devil Wears Prada is a movie, novel, and obviously a metal band. They are a tricky band to cover because they carry around a lot of preconceived opinions about them and their music. They are very open about their Christian values and for some reason that is a spark plug in the metal scene. The funny part is the band really doesn’t do anything to elicit any of the negativity they get. In fact they have gone out of their way over the last 11 years to make quality music that is true to their values. How is that a bad thing?

This “Song of the Week” titled Daughters off the soon to be released album (October 7), Transit Blues gained 270,000 views in a week. Even if you don’t want to look at the positives you have to admit the band is doing something right. Imagine if we lived in a world where spreading a positive message and living your life with values was the norm…┬áMartell
