What Ever Happened To…Sencirow

February 28, 2016

Sencirow logoThe German band was around for a few years in the mid to late 2000s. I discovered them after a recommendation on a Manowar forum. They were short lived but produced at least one song worth remembering.

I actually only ever heard one album by Sencirow, Perception of Fear. The album, as a whole, is pretty good. Aggressive German Power with enough of a nod to melody to keep it interesting. Sencirow definitely had the chops to execute the music and enough talent to write some catchy tracks. While they definitely had a professional sound, I think there just wasn’t enough uniqueness to launch them into greater recognition across the Metal community.  Daniel Seifert had a great voice on the album (he may still for all I know) and lent an air of attitude to the songs.

Encyclopaedia Metallum shows the status of the band as unknown and their Facebook page is basically defunct. None of the members were or are part of more well known acts.

Check out Burn It Down, my favorite song from Sencirow. Great workout track too!

So, what ever happened to Sencirow?
