The anticipation is what kills. That I can’t deny. Especially when it comes to introducing you to a killer band. With a great interview scheduled for this coming Monday (come back for that), all it would require is a modest amount of patience and the ability to delay gratification. Still, I’m sure you’ll forgive me when you hear Nevalra’s intense and insane delivery.
In truth, we blasted a couple of tasty morsels the other night on our Monday night live radio show, Shepherd’s Death Metal Den, but if you somehow missed that slaying of the speakers, here’s your opportunity to get acquainted with a band that should make itself welcome in your heavy metal collection.
Hailing from the Midwest, there is nothing laid back and wholesome to be found here. Nevalra is blood-curdling shrieks of horror and deep slices of aggressive riffage that shake the black metal world with ferocity and fire. Their debut EP, The Black Flame has already kicked the doors down in many metal halls, collecting stellar reviews and horns up from all corners of the evil lairs. This threesome is all business, all the time, and with pure power they announce their presence here at WLM.
Too good to blow it all on one simple post, our devious Nevalra plan includes a full review of The Black Flame, an interview with front man and shredder, Scott Eames, and another bottle placed in a future Friday Night Six Pack. Yes, that’s how infatuated we’ve become. If you love what you see and hear below don’t hesitate, just pick up The Black Flame now and we can compare notes later. Here’s a cool video that puts a face to the name and makes your metal ears take notice. Taken from their Puerto Rico tour, let us tease you.
We wouldn’t leave you hanging friend, not after hearing that blitzkrieg of metal. So, if you need to the metal beast like we know you do, click on any of the links below and go berserk. The story will continue, and you’ll want to be along for the ride.
