Let Me Fill Your Void With A New Heavy Metal Group The Worshyp
April 30, 2009

If you haven't heard of this heavy metal band, than you have no idea what you've been missing! This new band from Ontario Canada is new to the music scene however the members are not. This fresh sound is what heavy metal has been missing. If it doesn't get your head moving to the beat then you're dead! And if this doesn't rock you out, I'm not sure what will.

These guys are amazing and I feel privileged to be doing my blog on them so let me fill you in a little on The Worshyp… In 2007 Marz Nova, disgruntled by what he describes as "a lack of quality riff driven metal in recent years", decided to form a band that would fill the gap he saw in the metal genre. In early 2008 Nova teamed up with bassist Tony Goodine and Drummer Andy Anderson to form The Worshyp. The band immediately entered the studio and soon released an untitled four-song demo. The demo featuring the tracks Spirit Keys, Under Surveillance, My World and Ganglords really delivered in your face traditional riff driven metal. The band, which is based out of Toronto, Canada, is currently finishing their first full length CD that is rumoured to be released sometime in 2009.

I love the demos and Spirit Keys is my fav. A fan has also created an awesome video to go with that song. It kicks ass. Check out the demos and the video on their Facebook page. While you're there, join the fan page, give the guys some support & feedback because I know they would love to hear from you!!

As soon as the CD is released you can guarantee I'll be buying it and playing the shit out of it.
