Order ONE Ass Kicking!

So our good friend Jon Asher from Asher Media Relations sends us bands he works with that he thinks we might be interested in. Even when he doesn't feel they may fit what some consider "Metal." Well the band I'm looking at today fits the Metal bill as well as Hard Rock, and maybe even some Melodic Rock. Since I'm a big believer that genre identification sucks there's just answer one single question. Do you enjoy the music of ONE?

I could make this very simple and say YES I do like them, but that wouldn't make much of a blog now would it. So lets dig a little deeper. Off to the side you will find the video for "Rescue Me" off the bands new album "Dirty Valentine." This song grabs you right by ass and makes you giggle like a little school girl because it just has that quick start that makes you know this song is going to rock.

For all those Poison fans out there ONE has quite a selection of Bret Micheals style ballads with the likes of "Today Will Last Forever" and "Sorry." Then you get into the likes of "High" that starts with some very tinny drums and leads into some excellant Bass work by Phil Hardy. Listening to their music you have to immediatley understand the talent of lead vocalist Danny Rossi. His voice is something that commercially could be very big.

The band is rounded out by Guitarist and Backing Vocals (excellant harmony with Rossi) Chris Staniforth and Drummer Rudy Occhionero. They have the look, the sound, and as long as they can stay away from Hinder comparisons will be making some real money in my opinion. They hail from the Metal capital of Canada in Montreal and seem to have a lot of gigs in that area so for me to get a full feel for them I would love to see them live. I'm not going to go into big bio because you can head over to their MySpace page for all that info and to listen to the other songs listed above.

Oh and to answer the question - Yes I do like them... ALOT!
