Band of the Week Science of Sleep

Get all the rest you can because after November 25th your period of sleep will be over. On this day, Science of Sleep will be releasing their new album Hellmouth and I will go on record by saying it is the heaviest album of the year. Two very distinct styles in Death and Deathcore are slammed together in a way that would make Hadron collider physicists jealous. Track after track beats you over the head until you are at the mercy of the band. These guys uses the abbreviation SOS a lot and I see why. As good as Hellmouth is you may need to call for help from the claustrophobic audio assault. - Martell

The music features the band's trademark rapid-fire brutality and is full of blast-beats and heavy breakdowns. Lyrically and conceptually, the album address a variety of topics, reaching from the Hell mythology, fascism and the darkest parts of the human nature.

Hellmouth was recorded with Simon Hawemann (Sludge Studios, War From A Harlots Mouth) in Berlin and mixed by Christian Schwarz (Schwarzmusik). The mastering was done by Andy Marsh (Thy Art is Murder).
