Once again, my theory that a vocalist either makes or breaks a band is proven correct. This time it’s New York based Power/Thrash Metal band Enertia. In it we find one of my recent favorite singers in Scott Featherstone (also of WLM favorite Ion Vein).
There are so many things right about Iron Maiden. With arguably the most historic metal career they don’t seem old to me, and this past week, with the release of their new album, Book of Souls, I was reminded why.
In anticipation of the follow up to Anthrax‘s brilliant Worship Music the band has been releasing studio updates showing the progress of the work. In all honesty I’m not much of a fan of studio updates as they bore me because I’m not a musician.
