Hello. We are Distorted Force, a progressive metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece. We ‘ve been on the road since 2009. We ‘ve started recording at 2010. Our first record was a self-titled demo. For the next two years we ‘ve recoeded two EP’s named “A Dead Man’s Dream” and “Depersonalization” respectively. At April of 2013 we have finished and released our first full length album “Fields in Desolation”. Every record we did was independent and self-budgeted. We have performed plenty of live shows all over Greece and Cyprus.
At this point, we ‘re working on our new full length album “Taken by Force”.
You can check out our new album at youtube, myspace, reverbnation and soundcloud.com/distortedforce
We thought you might be interested in reviewing our latest album.
We hope you like our music.

    Best Wishes
    Distorted Force

I’m from Austria and we don’t have alot of metal bands here, ESPECIALLY the Thrash Metal scene is really small.. (Most of our local metal bands produce Black Metal)
But there’s this band who really stand out in my opinion:

    They’re called Wildhunt.

Here are links about their biography, gigs, live-vids, tracks, pictures and some merch:

Reviews, critique, opinions, questions, etc are highly appreciated!

    Cheers from Austria 🙂

Since Dio’s passing, metalheads look for other bands inspired by Ronnie, the Swedish singer Nils Patrik Johannson is a great example. Like Jorn, he channels Ronnie & Tony Martin. His bands Astral Doors, later wuthering heights, recent Lionshare, & the first two Richard andersson space odyssey albums are worthy for any dio fan. Also please check out Helker – “somewhere in the circle” for a Brazilian Dio vocalist.
