As you read this take notice that We Love Metal is getting ready to witness the “Gods of Glam” Motley Crue at the Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor Maine, USA. Last year it was Vegas, this year it’s a little North.
25 years of thrash under their belts and Extrema is still releasing innovative yet rooted metal. How do they keep this up? Listen to opening track “Between the Lines” and you will feel the passion that keeps this band pumping them out. “The Seed of Foolishness” conveys this passion at every turn.
2001 marked a dark, yet blessed year in the metal scene. It was the year the blackened industrial black metal of Dawn of Ashes was brought forward to the masses. Since that time they have produced work that looks and sounds like this:
We have lost so many in such a short time that the metal community is absolutely devastated by yet another; another so talented and creative that he defined a form of metal that went on to create more sub-genres and metal bands than any other.
Seeing as I use every free moment to listen to metal (normally new stuff to review) I take my time just before sleep to listen to my favorites. With my IPhone on snooze I drift off to the sound of numerous bands I have loved over the years.
No one can say We Love Metal doesn’t deliver. Today we are giving you “Bleed For Me” by the Metal Supergroup “Reverence.” Don’t believe their a supergroup?
