Heavy Metal Blogs: A389 Anniversary Show

This isn’t a review per say, but with the A389′s Anniversary show tonight in Baltimore I wanted to let you know about one of the bands that will be performing there.

Homewrecker has been on tour since early January and their sick and destructive live performances have been brought to the attention of us all the way up here in Canada. One of our readers ALEXA10 sent me an email after seeing the band live in New York on January 18th saying “was the wildest fucking show I have ever seen” and “the music was better than fucking and cocaine.”

With those recommendations I thought I better let you know that although the bands tour is wrapping up they will be releasing a new LP called Worms & Dirt early this year. The songs on this album are described as “the darkest and most savage” the band has ever released.

I’m really loving the adjectives that keep getting associated with this group. You can find more information on Homewrecker and their list of disgusting adjectives at www.a389records.com.

Now for our dedicated Baltimore readers: stop thinking about it and head over to this incredible show that also features 3 of the top hardcore bands in the world right now: EYEHATEGOD, INTEGRITY, GEHENNA. Not to mention the roster of one of the most violent music companies in the world today. Hail A389, keep bringing the dirty.

Metal on,

Martell

One Response to Homewrecker & A389 Aim to Destroy

Having been a fan of EyeHateGod for a good dozen years or so now, I thought it was great to hear about them as they’re still around the kicking heads around. Their brand of downtuned, almost slow churning sludge metal is twisted style of extreme metal to the point of bring about depression in your world.

I cannot wait to check out their new material; hopefully they’re working on some new songs.
