More news after the warp:

VOLTURYON: Swedish tech-death destroyers Volturyon have been confirmed to take part in the Eastern Death Infernal Tour 2011 with Demonical. The tour will run from October 26th to November 12th, focusing mainly on Baltic and Eastern European territories. Shows in Warsaw, Budapest, Bucharest and Berlin have been booked with the rest of the dates to be confirmed soon. Additional support will come from Hungary’s Slytract. www.volturyon.net

WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM: With WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM’s fourth full-length album, Celestial Lineage, now completed and nearing its September 13, 2011 release date via Southern Lord Records, we today unveil the album’s full song listing and album artwork. The cover art for Celestial Lineage was created by photographic artist Alison Scarpulla, and the package designed by Aaron Turner (Isis, Twilight, Hydra Head Records). The beautiful, organic layout puts the album conceptually right in line with the band’s previous Two Hunters and Black Cascade releases, and fittingly completes this triad of releases from the band. http://www.earsplitcompound.com/site/?p=2965

DESALMADO: Florida-based Greyhaze Records this week confirms August 16th as the official release date for Brazilian grind outfit DESALMADO’s Hereditas EP! Bearing six scorching tracks of the band’s rage-fueled, metallic grindcore in only 15 minutes, this potent mini-release will be made available as a 10″ vinyl EP as well as digital download. http://www.desalmado.com.br

GOLLUM: Wilmington, North Carolina metal troupe, GOLLUM, will perform a one-off performance at this year’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Fest featuring some of the metal scene’s heaviest hitters include Megadeth, Machine Head, In Flames and Unearth. Their third year in a row playing the big-name event, GOLLUM will pillage the Jagermiester stage on the August 3rd stop at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek in Raleigh. The entire set will be filmed for possible DVD inclusion.

FULL OF HELL: A389 is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Full Of Hell’s debut LP ‘Roots Of Earth Are Consuming My Home’. Recorded by Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations (Pulling Teeth, Oak, Magrudergrind), ‘Roots Of Earth…’ showcases this young band crushing through eleven tracks brimming with churning breaks, blast beasts, doom riffs and excess noise (more of which can be found on a bonus cassette available only with pre-orders) Having previously released two 7″s on Get This Right Records, Maryland’s Full Of Hell are no strangers to long hauls on the road, having accomplished several tours over US, Canadian and European soil (where the band drove themselves). Their ruthless DIY ethic is currently being exemplified through the band’s current two month North American tour. Their current tour comes to a halt on August 11th when the band appears at This Is Hardcore Fest. www.a389records.com

That’s the news I love,

Martell
