Today's blog is about a Heavy Metal drummer from The Band Disturbed. Mike is also one of the founding members of the Band, which was formed back in 1996. Mike has been playing drums since about the age of 10 and got really serious about it at the age of 15.

Some of the bands that have been an influence are Mike over the years are Metallica, Slayer, Judas Priest, Testament, Motley Crue, Pantera and Racer X. If you're a Disturbed fan or Heavy Metal fan in general you certainly appreciate the sound that Mike works so hard to maintain. His solos are nothing short of amazing.

In recent years Mike has appeared in ads for Pearl Drums. Mike uses Sabians for cymbals and he also uses Vater signature drumsticks. This is a link with set up of the drum kit.
